Nico and Katwo finally got married yesterday!!! :-) I have never seen Katwo more beautiful, and I was lucky to be there to witness them begin their new life of love.

It was a beautiful, small, meaningful ceremony at the Caleruega chapel in Batangas where you feel like you're nearer to the sky than the lush green mountains surrounding you. The bride marched to a song she made and sang herself (because she's the former lead singer of the now defunct band, Narda). The couple also wrote their own vows, and were wed by Fr. Dacanay SJ (and if you're Atenean, you will know what that means). They marched out of the chapel to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by Stevie Wonder.

The reception was at Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay. Like the ceremony, it was small, and intimate, and had lots of little personal touches. And the venue was outstanding! Fresh food, all your dearest friends, what more do you need on the day of your wedding?
